Scream 4.
Well, I never watched any of the other Scream movies, but I didn’t think that would matter because this movie was released like a whole decade after the previous movies. And I was pretty much right, because this is apparently separate from the original trilogy.
From what I understand, the main character in this series is just always stalked by this dude Ghost Face. And wherever she goes, everybody seems to die except for her. This movie is covering the events 10 years after the Ghost Face massacre, and…. yeah.
Scream 4 was a lot different than what I usually see in horror movies, but I guess that was what they were trying to get at. It was overall a pretty entertaining movie. Got me to jump a few times haha.

5 Centimeters Per Second.
I was searching for something sad to watch, and this came up and what the hell, I tried it. It was painfully boring to watch, but I powered through it because I don’t believe in judging a movie until I watch it til the end. And plus, I just don’t like watching movies halfway through.
Pretty much nothing happens in this movie that couldn’t have been reduced to something around five minutes. Really.
Skip it.

The Woman in Black.
The only reason why I watched this movie was because it had Daniel Radcliffe in it, and I thought the sets in the trailers were pretty neat.
However, I didn’t like this movie at all. It was really predictable, the characters felt really shallow, and it wasn’t scary. At all. And I’m actually pretty easily scared.
Yeah, skip this one.

Memento.
This movie is about this guy named Leonard Shelby who can’t make any short term memories. He can’t do this because he was struck in the head while attacking a man who was raping and killing his wife. Shelby spends his days looking for the murderer, and he remembers what he does using a complicated system of polaroids and tattoos.
The really interesting part about this movie is how it’s told. There is a color part and a black-and-white part to the movie. The black-and-white part is in chronological order, while the color part is in reverse chronological order. And the movie plays through the alternation of these two sequences.
There’s a really cool twist ending in the end of the movie. Or rather, in the middle. And it just blew my mind.
This movie was so great that I watched it twice. And that hardly ever happens.

Pulp Fiction.
I wouldn’t know where to start with explaining what this movie is about. It pretty much follows four story lines, which all meld into a single coherent story line.
This movie was made a while back (in 1994), but it’s all still relevant and funny as hell. I cannot recommend this movie enough. I did not know so much badassery could be fit into a single movie, let alone some of its more memorable scenes.
